Paxos is known for the many winding paths through the olive groves and cypress trees. There are many routes and paths around the island linking roads and villas and beaches.

Walking is not always easy on the island as some of the paths are steep and rocky, and some of the paths are overgrown if they have not been cleared recently.

The Bleasdale walking map of Paxos can be ordered by post.  It shows many of the paths on Paxos, although it is not fully up to date with all the small paths.
